Goetz, 59, takes on the top clinician's role at the state-run psychiatric hospital from Mark Diamond, who left the hospital in December, a spokeswoman said.
Most recently Goetz served as medical director for the state of Hawaii Department of Mental Health's Division of Adult Mental Health and director of the Mental Health Transformation State Incentive Grant, a news release from the Oregon State Hospital said. Before working in Hawaii, Goetz was medical director for the Oregon Office of Mental Health Services, among other past roles.
