PreEmptive Solutions, a Cleveland-based provider of software and services to monitor businesses' online applications and platforms, has named Paul Ruflin president and COO. PreEmptive founder and CEO Gabriel Torok has bifurcated his role and remains active within the company and on its board of directors, according to a company spokesman.
PreEmptive Solutions names Ruflin president
Ruflin, 57, previously served as COO of Cap Gemini North America, CEO of Eclipsys and president and COO of Noteworthy Medical Systems, according to a PreEmptive news release. In his new role, Ruflin is charged with leading the company's expansion, in particular in the area of application analytics. PreEmptive Solutions was founded in 1996 and has more than 4,000 clients, according to the company's website.
