The Camden Group, a healthcare business advisory firm, hired Dr. Teresa Koenig and Dr. Daniel Cusator as vice presidents in the firm's clinical thought-leadership team.
Camden Group names two to leadership team
Koenig, 51, is a former senior vice president, chief medical officer and associate director of the internal medicine center at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio. Cusator, 54, most recently served as chief medical officer for clinical integration at Providence Health & Services in Southern California.
They both report to Laura Jacobs, executive vice president of the El Segundo, Calif.-based Camden Group, according to a Camden Group blog post announcing their appointments.
Koenig and Cusator will support the firm's clients in their transition from a fee-for-service environment to a fee-for-value system, including by providing assistance in clients' efforts to reduce readmissions and develop accountable care organizations, according to a news release.
