MGMA's Jessee to join consultancy Integrated Healthcare Strategies
Jessee announced in March 2010 his plans to retire from the Englewood, Colo.-based MGMA, which includes about 22,500 members at roughly 13,700 medical organizations. Jessee repeatedly has appeared on Modern Healthcare and Modern Physician's list of the 50 Most Influential Physician Executives. The MGMA in July named Dr. Susan Turney, CEO and executive vice president of the Wisconsin Medical Society, to succeed Jessee as chief executive.
