Press Ganey Associates CEO Richard Siegrist Jr. will step aside as chief executive July 1 to take on the newly created position of chief innovation officer, according to a news release from the South Bend, Ind.-based healthcare quality-consulting company.
Press Ganey makes executive changes
Current Press Ganey President and CFO Robert Draughon will succeed Siegrist as CEO. Siegrist will remain a member of Press Ganey's board, according to the release.
Siegrist was named CEO of Press Ganey in February 2009, after the company's acquisition earlier that year of PatientFlow Technology, where Siegrist had served as president.
Of the decision to transition to a new position, Siegrist said, "I wanted to concentrate on continuing to identify additional ways to use innovation to drive added value for our clients."
Draughon also joined Press Ganey in 2009. He previously worked in finance and corporate development for companies including WebMD, according to the release.
