Dohmen Co. has acquired MedComm Solutions, an Emeryville, Calif.-based medical communications firm that services biopharmaceutical companies, according to a news release.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, according to a spokesperson for the Milwaukee-based healthcare services company. Herbert Lee, who served as vice president of business development at MedComm Solutions, has been named division president. He reports to Dohmen CEO Cynthia LaConte.
It is the company's second acquisition this year. Dohmen announced in February that it had acquired PlanIt, a Germantown, Wis.-based healthcare analytics company.
