Alpharetta, Ga.-based MedAssets promoted Joseph Greskoviak to the position of president of spend and clinical resource management. Greskoviak succeeds Patrick Ryan, who left MedAssets on May 26, according to a company spokesperson. Ryan had held the post since November, when MedAssets acquired the Broadlane Group, another group purchasing organization, where Ryan served as chairman and CEO, according to a news release.

Greskoviak most recently was MedAssets' executive vice president of client strategy. Previously, he served as executive vice president and chief development officer at the Broadlane Group. In his new role, Greskoviak reports to MedAssets Chairman, President and CEO John Bardis. Ages for Greskoviak and Ryan were unavailable at deadline.
