Philadelphia-based Wolters Kluwer Health has completed its acquisition of Lexi-Comp, a drug-information and clinical-content provider based in Hudson, Ohio. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Wolters Kluwer closes Lexi-Comp deal
Wolters Kluwer Health's offerings include textbooks, point-of-care clinical information tools, journals, medication information software and other health information products. The business is a division of Wolters Kluwer, a publishing and information services company headquartered in the Netherlands.
In October 2008, Wolters Kluwer Health purchased UpToDate, an electronic clinical-information resource. In December 2010, the company acquired Pharmacy OneSource, a hospital pharmacy software-as-a-service provider.
