Dr. David Nace, medical director for San Francisco-based McKesson Corp., has been named the first vice chairman of the board of directors for the Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative.
Nace named Collaborative vice chairman
The collaborative, based in Washington, is a coalition of more than 700 organizations working to advance and advocate for the patient-centered medical-home model. Nace has served on the board since 2010 and is a founding co-chairman of the collaborative's Center for eHealth Information Adoption and Exchange, according to a news release. He also helped establish the collaborative's Center for Accountable Care earlier this year.
Before joining McKesson, Nace was senior vice president and corporate medical director with UnitedHealth Group. He also previously served as vice president and chief medical officer of Aetna. His age was unavailable at deadline.
