The Certification Commission for Health Information Technology will begin accepting applications June 2 for its previously announced electronic health-record system certification programs in women's health, oncology and clinical research. Clinicians can access criteria and test scripts for the new ambulatory EHR programs on the commission's website, according to a CCHIT news release.
CCHIT launches new EHR certifications
CCHIT will host a town-hall webcast about the new programs June 2 at 4 p.m. ET. The commission also offers specialty EHR certification programs for cardiovascular medicine, child health, emergency departments, behavioral health, dermatology and long-term and post-acute care, according to the release.
