Cerner Corp. announced a deal to acquire long-term-care information technology company Resource Systems. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Cerner to buy Resource Systems
A news release from Kansas City, Mo.-based Cerner stated that the acquisition, expected to close this month, will bolster its existing long-term-care software. Resource Systems, New Concord, Ohio, produces software and hardware to document daily activities in long-term-care settings. Resource Systems President and co-founder Larry Triplett is expected to join Cerner, according to the release.
