ProCure Treatment Centers has hired Dr. Eugen Hug as the Bloomington, Ind.-based company's first chief medical officer.
ProCure names Hug CMO
Hug, 51, most recently served as director of the Center for Proton Therapy at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Villigen, Switzerland, and as professor and chair of proton-radiotherapy at the University of Zurich. In his new role at ProCure, he will oversee medical operations, clinical research and treatment protocols for the company's proton therapy centers in Oklahoma, Illinois, New Jersey, Washington, Florida and Michigan.
Hug, who started May 10, reports to ProCure CEO Hadley Ford. He is based in New York.
