Wayne, Pa.-based health information management company Precyse Solutions has rebranded itself simply as Precyse and has also introduced a new company logo. The changes come as Precyse prepares to market itself as a technology vendor in addition to consulting and services provider, a company spokeswoman said.
The rebranding coincided with the launch of precyseCode, a health information management platform that incorporates voice recognition to capture and code patient information.
"Rather than reengineering existing automated systems to adapt to the changing healthcare environment, our goal was to begin from the ground up to develop a solution that would meet all of the current and future needs of healthcare providers," said Ken Lacy, president and general manager of the company's advanced technologies division. "We carefully analyzed all of these needs and built solutions for them into precyseCode. The simplicity of our new corporate identity now goes hand in hand with the simplicity of our flagship product."
