Allan Spooner has been named interim president and CEO of the 143-bed Rose de Lima Campus of the three-hospital St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, Henderson, Nev., while Shelby Decosta has been named VP for strategy and market growth for three-hospital, the 509-bed St. Rose Dominican Hospitals group, the organization has announced.
Spooner named interim CEO at Rosa de Lima
For the past four years, Spooner has served as the chief strategy officer for the southern Nevada market for St. Rose Dominican. Before that, Spooner was a vice president for Ascension Health and served in a vice president position at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, according to a news release. Spooner received a master's degree in business administration in finance and policy studies at the University of Chicago and his undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College, the release said.
Decosta previously served as VP of business development and clinical integration, and as director of strategy for St. Rose. Decosta has a master's degree in healthcare administration and a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California. St. Rose Dominican Hospitals is affiliated with Catholic Healthcare West.
