HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced that Dr. Nils Daulaire was confirmed by the U.S. Senate as the country's representative on the executive board of the World Health Organization.
Senate confirms Daulaire for WHO post
Daulaire, director of the Office of Global Health Affairs at HHS, was nominated by President Barack Obama on Dec. 20 to serve in the position.
"The WHO will be an even stronger organization with Dr. Daulaire’s leadership and expertise," Sebelius said in an HHS news release.
