Bon Secours Charity Health System, Suffern, N.Y., hired Dr. Rodney Williams as chief medical officer and also named him vice president of medical affairs for its Good Samaritan Hospital.
Bon Secours Charity Health names CMO
Williams most recently served as executive vice president and CMO at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, according to a news release. He worked at the 243-bed acute-care hospital for 15 years before leaving in 2010. Williams' age was unavailable at deadline.
He replaces Marc Chasin, who was hired as vice president and chief medical informatics officer at St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho.
The Bon Secours Charity Health System includes three New York-based hospitals: Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern; Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis; and St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick.
