Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, part of Nashville-based Vanderbilt University Medical Center, has hired a Cincinnati oncologist to be chief medical officer of the cancer center, according to a news release.
Neuss new CMO at Vanderbilt-Ingram
Dr. Michael Neuss, 56, will fill the newly created position starting July 1. Neuss also will be a professor in the Vanderbilt School of Medicine's hematology/oncology division. Neuss will develop strategies for clinical growth in cancer care within the cancer center and on campus, according to the release.
Neuss was the second physician to join Oncology/Hematology Care in Cincinnati in 1986. The practice has grown to include 48 oncology specialists and 15 locations in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.
