Aramark Healthcare has acquired Masterplan, Goodlettsville, Tenn., a clinical-technology management and medical-equipment maintenance company, according to an Aramark news release. Financial terms of the deal between the privately owned companies were undisclosed.
Aramark Healthcare buys Masterplan
Aramark Healthcare, Philadelphia, offers consulting for medical-equipment purchases and assorted equipment-management services and tools, including laboratory and imaging system maintenance and wireless equipment tracking.
According to the release, the acquisition of Masterplan will help Aramark Healthcare meet hospitals' needs for all levels of their clinical technology, from infusion pumps to high-end equipment such as CT devices. Aramark currently manages clinical equipment at more than 500 hospitals across the country; Masterplan serves more than 230 hospitals, according to the release.
