Medical Learning, St. Paul, Minn., and Panacea Healthcare Solutions, Wesley Chapel, Fla., have completed a merger of the two companies, which will adopt the Panacea Health Solutions name.
Panacea, Medical Learning announce merger
No money changed hands, with shareholders of the two companies getting ownership in the merged company, said Frederick Stodolak, its CEO. He held the same title with the old Panacea Healthcare.
Medical Learning is a publishing and consulting firm specializing in coding, compliance, reimbursement and the revenue cycle, while Panacea is a financial consulting and software company focused on the same issues, according to a company news release. Medical Learning's chairman and president, Michael Rogge, holds the same title with the new company.
The new company will maintain the MedLearn brand for publishing and consulting, and is based in St. Paul with offices in Arizona, California, Florida and New Jersey.
