Human-resources management company Kronos has reached a definitive agreement to acquire API Healthcare Corp., a provider of human-resources software for hospitals, healthcare systems and staffing agencies.
Kronos to buy API Healthcare
Terms of the deal, which regulators must approve, were not disclosed, according to a Kronos news release. The Chelmsford, Mass.-based buyer reached the deal to acquire API Healthcare, formerly API Software, with private-equity firm Francisco Partners of San Francisco. Francisco acquired API in late 2008.
Key employees of API, Hartford, Wis., will join Kronos as part of the deal, according to the release.
