SFW Capital Partners acquires MD Buyline
"We are pleased to have SFW, together with management, be the new owners of MD Buyline,” said Larry and Sharon Malcolmson, founders of MD Buyline, in a news release. "SFW's knowledge of the importance of analytical information and of the healthcare services sector impressed us greatly."
The Malcolmsons founded MD Buyline in 1983. They say the company has more than 1,500 hospital clients.
According to an SFW news release, the Malcolmsons will continue as advisers to the company and Larry Malcolmson will serve as a director. MD Buyline's “highly valuable analytical tools, deep customer relationships and important opportunities for growth” made the company an attractive investment for SFW, according to the release.
MD Buyline was a privately owned for-profit company. Tom Faust, a spokesman for SFW, said annual revenue for MD Buyline is not available publicly.
