Donnie Perkins has been named vice president of diversity and inclusion for University Hospitals, Cleveland, effective Feb. 8. Perkins will report to University Hospitals CEO Thomas Zenty.
The position was created following the retirement of Zenty's senior adviser, Dr. Ed Jackson. Perkins comes to the Cleveland system from Northeastern University in Boston, where he was dean and director of the office of institutional diversity and equity. He declined to provide his age, a University Hospitals spokesman said.
