LifePoint Hospitals, Brentwood, Tenn., named David Dill president of the company, according to a news release. Bill Carpenter relinquishes the title of president but remains chairman and CEO of the company. Carpenter was named chairman in December.
Dill, 42, has been executive vice president and chief operating officer of the investor-owned hospital company since April 2009. He is retaining the title of COO. Dill joined LifePoint in July 2007 as chief financial officer.
