Integris Health, Oklahoma City, is among the recipients of the estimated $14 million in grants.
Integris will receive $497,000 to install video teleconferencing equipment that will let stroke patients connect remotely with physicians and help the network's 20 schools, hospitals and health centers provide expanded health and educational resources for students, according to a USDA news release.
"These announcements today are another step forward for rural America," Vilsack said in a teleconference.
