There is one obvious solution. Congress must establish one EHR platform to serve as a foundation for all businesses to build around.
The fix: single EHR platform
That, of course, creates some winners and losers, but every healthcare consumer wins by establishing this uniformity. Current practice resembles measuring in the metric or English systems.
