Sharon Christoforakis has been named to lead a newly formed revenue-cycle practice at Hayes Management Consulting, according to a news release from the Newton, Mass.-based firm. Hayes provides IT services and software for healthcare businesses.
Hayes is a former senior vice president of revenue operations with ABQ Health Partners, Albuquerque, and has worked as a manager and consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, according to the release.
She has worked with medical schools and large, independent group practices during her 27-year healthcare industry career and has extensive experience in revenue-cycle strategy and execution, staffing level and productivity assessment, business process redesign, outsourcing and vendor contract negotiations, according to the release.
