CardioVascular Associates of Birmingham, Ala., said it will open a new center in the city to consolidate its group.
The $21 million project will open in mid-2012. The planned 80,000-square-foot building will house services for the group's 32 cardiologists. The group secured a five-year equity loan and a 10-year construction-permanent loan through Birmingham’s Medical Clinic Board. CardioVascular Associates provides heart and vascular care to about 46,000 patients a year in the Southeast, according to a news release announcing the project.
