Scott Reiner will succeed Larry Dodds as executive vice president and COO at Adventist Health, a faith-based 17-hospital system based in Roseville, Calif.
Reiner named COO at Adventist Health
Dodds, 62, is retiring in May after nearly four decades with Adventist Health.
Reiner, 46, has served as senior vice president for Adventist Health since 2007. Previously, he was president and CEO of Glendale Adventist Medical Center. He also has worked as vice president of specialty operations at Tennessee Christian Medical Center in Nashville.
Robert Carmen, president and CEO of Adventist Health, said in a written statement that Reiner’s “forward thinking, clinical experience, insightful leadership and dedication to our mission will be assets to his new role as we continue to propel our organization forward.”
Adventist Health operates facilities in California, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington state.
