The deadline to send in nominations for Modern Healthcare's 2011 Trustee of Year Awards has been extended by two weeks. The deadline is now Friday, Dec. 17.
Deadline extended for Trustee of the Year nominations
Once again, four nominees will be chosen for awards, but this year the categories and some criteria have changed. The categories are: a trustee at a large hospital (defined as those with 100 or more beds); a trustee at a small hospital (defined as those with fewer than 100 beds); in a new category, a trustee at a not-for-profit healthcare system (defined as a system- or corporate-level board); and in another new category, a director at a for-profit healthcare company (defined as either privately owned or publicly traded).
For more information on how to submit a nomination, visit the Trustee of the Year page in the Awards and Honors section of ModernHealthcare.com.
