Physicians Interactive Holdings, Marlborough, Mass., has named Brett Miller president of the company's healthcare professional division, effective immediately.
Physicians Interactive contracts with life-sciences companies to provide clinical-decision support tools, medication samples, and sales and marketing information to clinicians.
In the newly created role, Miller, 45, also will oversee the company's wholly owned subsidiary Skyscape, which is focused on mobile technology. He also will create and execute e-commerce strategies that will help the company become a "clinician-centric organization," according to a Physicians Interactive news release.
Miller most recently served as chief marketing officer at FX Solutions, an online brokerage company based in Saddle River, N.J. He also was general manager of the Internet division for cosmetics retailer Sephora.
