UnitedHealth subsidiary sets sights on Asian Pacific region
UnitedHealth subsidiary OptumHealth, through its own subsidiary PPC Worldwide, intends to acquire IPS Worldwide as a way to expand business through IPS’ offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, according to OptumHealth news release.
The release said rapid economic development in the Asian Pacific region, led by lower labor costs and high penetration of technology, has caused companies to expand front- and back-office operations there and led to a greater need for employee counseling services.
