Quinnian Health, Chaska, Minn., a provider of telemedicine technology and services, has been acquired by Blackstone Technology Group, San Francisco, for an undisclosed amount.
Blackstone acquires Quinnian Health
Blackstone's healthcare and life sciences unit provides works with providers, payers and pharmaceutical and biotech companies and public health agencies. Blackstone also contracts with the U.S. Navy, the Homeland Security Department, and various state and local governments.
"Acquiring Quinnian Health and their leadership team demonstrates our commitment to further building vertical expertise in the growing healthcare industry,” Blackstone CEO David Mysona said in a news release announcing the deal.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Quinnian Health will become a part of the healthcare and life science practice at Blackstone. John Brownlee, former CEO of Quinnian, will serve as managing director of the practice, according to the release.
