Mark Guinan has been appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer of Hill-Rom, a Batesville, Ind.-based medical technology manufacturer and information technology provider. Guinan starts Dec. 13; he replaces Greg Miller, who has been CFO since 2005.
Guinan, 48, is the chief procurement officer for Johnson & Johnson and also has worked as the vice president of finance for J&J’s global pharmaceutical group and global research and development and business operations, according to a news release announcing the appointment. Before joining J&J, Guinan worked at Procter & Gamble Co.
