Michael Gallup has been named senior vice president of TeleTracking Technologies, a Pittsburgh-based company that produces software applications for tracking assets and managing patient flow. In the newly created position, Gallup will primarily oversee North American sales for the company, but will also have responsibilities in other areas, such as infection prevention and systems integration, according to a company news release.
Gallup recently served as the vice president and general manager for the information technology solutions division of Hill-Rom, a Batesville, Ind.-based maker of hospital beds, medical devices and medical technology systems. He was also director of strategy and turnaround at Hillenbrand Industries before the company’s medical technology division split off and became Hill-Rom in 2008.
