Private-equity firm Thomas H. Lee Partners has completed its acquisition of revenue-cycle management company Intermedix Corp., according to a news release from Intermedix. Thomas H. Lee Partners acquired the company from Parthenon Capital Partners and its minority shareholders, according to the release. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Intermedix provides revenue-management-cycle services for emergency physicians and hospital emergency departments, emergency medical service (ambulance) agencies, urgent-care centers and fire departments. The company also provides technology services for state and local public health agencies, hospitals, emergency medical services agencies and fire departments. In May, Intermedix announced that it had acquired Milwaukee-based EMSystems.
