H.L. Perry Pepper will retire as president and CEO of the Chester County Hospital and Health System, West Chester, Pa., at the end of September, the hospital said. Pepper, 67, joined the 220-bed Chester Hospital in 1977.
“Mr. Pepper admirably led this organization for more than three decades, and has inspired a culture that is focused on the hospital's mission to the community and the need to care for each patient as though they were a member of the family,” board chairman William Wylie Jr. said in a news release announcing Pepper's retirement.
