The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America has appointed John Castellani president and CEO, effective Sept. 1.
Castellani will succeed Billy Tauzin, who earlier this year became a senior adviser to PhRMA, an industry lobby group. Castellani joins PhRMA after nine years as president and CEO of the corporate CEO association Business Roundtable. Castellani's and Tauzin's ages were not provided by deadline.
