Cerner Corp., a provider of information technology systems for the healthcare industry, has announced that President Trace Devanny will step down from his position and leave the company July 16.
Devanny, 58, plans to pursue other business opportunities, according to a news release from Kansas City, Mo.-based Cerner. Devanny has served as Cerner's president since 1999. Neal Patterson, Cerner's current chairman and CEO, will succeed Devanny as president while maintaining his current posts.
