Toronto-based Diversinet Corp., which provides applications for mobile personal health records, has named Mark Trigsted executive VP of healthcare.
In the newly created position, Trigsted will be responsible for Diversinet's global business development and sales. He previously held leadership positions at numerous health information technology companies. At Woodbridge, N.J.-based 1-800-DOCTORS, a provider of toll-free telephone-number services for hospitals, Trigsted served as an executive vice president of business development; before that, he was vice president and general manager at McKesson Corp., San Francisco.
