Standard Register, a document-services company based in Dayton, Ohio, has named Scott Wallace vice president of strategic development for its healthcare business unit.
In the newly created role, Wallace, 46, will lead partnership-development initiatives and will be charged with creating a new consulting practice to spur growth and foster outside interest in the company's healthcare unit.
Prior to joining Standard Register, Wallace was a partner at ACS Healthcare Solutions, a Dearborn, Mich.-based healthcare-consulting and business-outsourcing company. He also worked as an associate partner at Santa Rosa Consulting, a healthcare-management consulting company based in Southfield, Mich.
“Scott brings an energy and a depth of expertise that will be invaluable as we transform the business and develop new capabilities to help our clients thrive in today's challenging healthcare environment,” Brad Cates, president of Standard Register's healthcare business unit, said in a news release.
