The global life-sciences company i3, Basking Ridge, N.J., has purchased the Shanghai, China-based contract research organization ChinaGate for an undisclosed amount.
N.J. life-sciences company buys ChinaGate
ChinaGate specializes in providing product-development regulatory services for drug, medical-device and biotechnology companies seeking market approval in China, according to a news release. The company also has expertise in bringing products manufactured in China to the global market.
Under the terms of the deal, ChinaGate CEO Joyce Chiu and Managing Director Janice Ma will continue in their current roles as the company is integrated into i3's clinical development services group.
