Andrew Ziskind, M.D., a cardiologist and former president of Barnes-Jewish Hospital of St. Louis, has joined global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company Accenture as a senior executive in the company's Health & Public Service operating group.
Ziskind joins Accenture
Since 2005, Ziskind has been a professor of medicine at Washington University's School of Medicine, and from 1999 until 2005, he had served as vice dean for clinical affairs at the University of Washington's health system. He also had worked at the University of Maryland Medical System, where he was director of the cardiac network.
Ziskind, 51, earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1984 and trained in internal medicine and cardiology and Massachusetts General Hospital. He earned a master's degree in business administration from Loyola College of Maryland in 1999.
