Robert Hatch, is the new president of Regence Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Utah, effective June 1. Hatch replaces Scott Ideson, who is retiring this summer after a transition period, according to the Salt Lake City-based health insurer. Hatch is past president and CEO of Wells Fargo Utah, and until his appointment as president, a board member of the Regence Utah Blues. He spent three terms on the board of the health plan's parent company, the Regence Group, based in Portland, Ore. Regence could not provide ages for Hatch and Ideson by deadline.
