The agreement also calls for state Sen. Kathy Campbell, an independent from Lincoln, to amend a bill she sponsored calling for a two-year moratorium on new hospital licenses so that it would exempt facilities already under construction.
According to the statement, negotiations ended Saturday with discussions on potentially including Good Samaritan in the ownership of the new hospital and restructuring its governance model.
