Roger Oxendale has been named CEO of Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, Fla., effective in April.
In this newly created position, Oxendale will lead a new pediatric facility under construction at Lake Nona Medical Campus. He will also serve as a senior vice president at Nemours, a national pediatric health system.
Oxendale was CEO of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for the past five years. He joined the hospital in 1995 as chief financial officer. Previously, he was senior financial executive at Allegheny Health, Education and Research Foundation in Pittsburgh. His age was not immediately available.
