Aulakh named COO at Velos

Kamar Aulakh has been named chief operating officer of privately held Velos, the Fremont, Calif.-based developer of systems for the management of clinical trials, the company has announced.

Previously, Aulakh, 57, served as president and CEO of Quark Inc., Denver, a privately held developer of desktop publishing and management software for the publishing industry.
