David Fish will retire as president and CEO of St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls, Wis. Joan Coffman, the hospital's chief operating officer for the past two years, will assume leadership of the 102-bed hospital April 15. Fish, meanwhile, will continue to work for St. Joseph's as a political and government relations advocate, according to a news release from Hospital Sisters Health System, the hospital's 13-hospital parent based in Springfield, Ill.

The president and CEO of St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, Ill., another Hospital Sisters member, resigned March 17. Kevin Shrake joined St. Elizabeth's as interim CEO in February 2008 and officially assumed the title in July that year. Sharon Timmons was named interim CEO during a search for Shrake's successor. A Hospital Sisters spokeswoman said the executives' ages were not available at deadline.
