The Joint Commission named John Mache as its new chief information officer. Mache comes to the Joint Commission from ACCO Brands Corp., where he was global vice president of information technology for the Lincolnshire, Ill.-based office products supplier.
He has 30 years of experience in information management and technology and holds a master's degree in finance and management policy and environment from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, according to a Joint Commission news release.
“John's experience in information technology and business process re-engineering will be important in the Joint Commission's efforts to use technology to create business value,” Anne Marie Benedicto, chief of staff and executive vice president of support operations, said in the release. His age was not available at deadline.
