DaVita named Luis Borgen as its new CFO, effective March 29. Borgen, 39, succeeds Rich Whitney, who served in the role from 2000 until 2004 and again since 2008. Whitney will remain with the company in an executive position to help with the transition, Denver-based DaVita said in a news release. Two years ago, DaVita announced that Whitney would join the company in that role for a period of one to two years. Before joining DaVita, Borgen served as vice president of finance for the U.S. retail division of Staples.
