Medical imaging manufacturer GE Healthcare appointed William Denman, M.D., chief medical officer, according to a news release. Denman, 48, will oversee the company's patient-safety efforts. Most recently, Denman was CMO and vice president of medical affairs for medical-products company Covidien. His current work includes several clinical and basic-science research projects at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, and Harvard Medical School.
